With around 10,000 secondary school students taking part, the annual Big Sing is New Zealand's largest musical competition. Our four HNHS choirs, Colla Voce, Voix de Femmes, Future Prospects and Havelock Singers were outstanding in their performances this year. The level of hard work and dedication really shone forth at the sellout concert. Future prospect directed by Mr Cargill won the Adjudicators Award and Voix de Femmes directed by Mrs Melville won the Choral Art Music Award. Well done to all the students who were involved.
