On Saturday night, 21st May 2016,  at the glittering Hawke's Bay Sports Awards Ceremony in the Pettigrew-Green Arena, Havelock North High School 2015 Junior Girls' Orienteering Team was named Hawke's Bay Junior Team of the Year 

This award was richly deserved as the team of Jenna Tidswell, Bianca Kirk, Imke Kitchin, Alexandra Miller, Aishlin McIntyre and Oliva Wolland travelled to the World Schools' Orienteering Championships in Anatalya in Turkey in April last year, where they won the World Seondary Schools' Orienteering Title.
