Re: Uniform Sales 2022

With the country in the ever-present grip of Covid-19, we are following a number of procedures to ensure the safe operation of Threads, the school uniform shop, for the summer 2022 opening.

1. Due to the large numbers of visitors coming on-site to purchase uniforms, and given the relatively small space the uniform shop occupies, we are introducing an appointment system for you to purchase your uniform requirements.

In the same way that you would book a parent-teacher consultation at the High School during the year, the uniform shop will run 15-minute time slots for your uniform fitting and purchase.

2. The time slots must be booked in advance meaning that the rules around social distancing guidelines can be observed. This will mean that only two groups are in the shop at any one time.

3. In addition, mask use and signing in are mandatory when visiting the shop.

4. We can only accept fully vaccinated caregivers on site. If you are unvaccinated please contact Andrea via email (wln@hnhs.school.nz) for a suitable time in 2022.

5. There is a limit of 1 parent/caregiver and 1 student only per appointment slot as we cannot accommodate the whole family being in the shop due to social distance rules.

6. The shop will open from Tuesday 18th January, 11 am-3 pm and will operate daily at those times and open from 11 am-1 pm on Saturday’s right through to school commencing after Waitangi weekend.

Please ensure you keep to your appointment time as there will be no 'walk in's’ to purchase uniform during the first 2 weeks of opening.

Saturday 22nd Jan: 11 am – 1 pm

Monday 24th Jan through to Friday 28th Jan: 11 am – 3 pm

Saturday 29th Jan: 11 am – 1 pm

Monday 31st Jan through to Friday 4th Feb: 11 am – 3 pm
