Mechatronic engineering is a multidisciplinary branch of engineering that focuses on both electrical and mechanical systems, and also includes a combination of robotics, electronics, computer, telecommunications, systems, control, and product engineering. Four ex-students of HNHS recently graduated on the same day at Auckland University with First Class Honours in the difficult field of mechatronics. Congratulations to Amy Wolland, Jonathon Willis, Thomas Wood and Laurence de Burgh on an amazing achievement.
