Congratulations to HNHS students, Greer Edilson, Milly Douglas and Leah Morrison, who were part of the New Zealand Under 21 Woman’s A Team competing at the Canoe Polo Oceania Tournament. The team won gold in the Under 21 Women's Grade and silver in the Senior Women’s Grade, beating NZ Women's B and Australian Women’s A teams.  The big upset was that they knocked out the New Zealand Women's B team to play against the world championship winning team, NZ A, in the final.

Two other HNHS students featured at the tournament, Samantha Spencer was part of the New Zealand  Girls' Under 18 team, which also won gold in their grade, while the New Zealand Girls' Under 21 B team, with  Meg Gallen playing, won a silver medal.  Well done girls.
