Congratulations to Team Squad, the New Zealand winners of the 48 Hour Film Competition Best School Film and Morgan Pearce, who again won the award for best actress, competing against some very experienced performers

The team of Ben Barker, Anneliese Tuarau-Jones, Esther Mackay, Ben Caldwell, Morgan Pearce, Julian Godfrey, and Jason Jarrett was sent a genre, a line, a prop, a shot and a character name to include in the film.  For the next 48 hours team members brainstormed, scripted, filmed, edited and finalised a national award-winning film.

The team earned their place in the national final after winning three awards at the regional finals, where Morgan also won 'best actress'. This win was an outstanding feat, amidst a very strong field.  Well done team!
