Congratulations to our winning theatresports team!

Congratulation to our winning theatresports team, PlatyPeoPle, who took out the interschool improv challenge last night, 25 November, in a cliffhanger final.  The trophy is called "Iggy the Improv Imp" and we were up against five other Hawke's Bay schools: Napier Boys' High School, Napier Girls' High School, Woodford House, Iona College, and Karamu High School.

The students on our team (named Platy People) were Ryan Pearce, Molly Power, Maisie Moore, Quinn Mackay, Lochie Toner, Niamh Edward and Jaime Luisi.  Senior coaches were Teag MacKay, Aimee Somerville and Grace Stephenson.  Our team performed three theatresports challenges: Slow-Motion Replay, Word at a Time and Expert Double Figures.  After two hours of competition, they faced Woodford in a tiebreaker for first place, playing a rapid-fire storytelling game called "Story Story Die" that left Quinn Mackay the last man standing.  'Iggy' was ours.
