On 17 May, Forum, a group of eleven year 13 leaders, travelled to Wellington with Deputy Principal, Mr Joel Wilton, for the National Youth Leaders Conference. Head Girl, Madi Chu, reported that they learnt a lot about leadership from some "truly inspiring" speakers and had all gained "inspiration, wisdom and a newfound motivation", which they will apply to their leadership roles this year. She said that those who spoke had not all taken advantage of earlier opportunites and came from a wide range of backgrounds, which showed that, "with the right motivation, anyone can turn their life around."  Madi said, "It was an unforgettable trip and we now have many new life tools and aspirations. Special thanks to Mr Wilton for taking us."
