On Saturday night, our HNHS band, The Bers, won first place at the Rockquest Hawke's Bay regional final with an outstanding performance.  The band members are: 

Charlie Power (lead vocals), Dmitri Thompson (bass guitar), George Kay (lead guitar), Louis Blair (rhythm guitar), Seth Winters (drums), Lachlan Harrison (piano).

Results:

1st place Band: The Bers from Havelock North High School

2nd place Band: Trolley from Havelock North High School

1st place Solo-Duo: Heaps Moore (Lily Moore & Thomas Heaps) from Havelock North High School
