Last night, the HNHS Junior Girls 4 x 100m relay team, consisting of Amy Nicoll, Hunter Avery, Maisie Simpson, and Millie Woodham, won the Hawke's Bay Team of the Year award.  Luis Douglas was presented with the Hawke's Bay Para-Athlete of the Year award for his outstanding performance in athletics and cross country, which included national championships and record-breaking achievements. Also, congratulations to Thomas Potts for being a finalist in the Hawke's Bay Male all-around Sportsman of the Year.
