Congratulations to the HNHS Showquest team for their compelling performance, 'Stonewall', at Toi Toi on May 24th, directed by Josh Folkers and Mills Jones. They were supported by band leader Oscar Holm, lighting director Will Leary, and stage manager Adam Wall. The piece intended to highlight the struggle of the rainbow community against discrimination and prejudice over time. Despite major changes in LGBTQ+ rights, full acceptance of the rainbow community remains elusive. The hard-hitting performance was awarded 2nd place, the School Spirit Award, Best Drama, Best Live Music, Best Theme, Highly Commended Lighting, and Whetū Rangatahi (Star of the Show) for Josh Folkers.   Congratulations to all students involved in the performance.
