
The Sheilah Winn Shakespeare competition is a yearly event that involves over half of the secondary schools in the country. Students participate by performing 5-minute and 15-minute excerpts from Shakespeare's plays, and students lead each group.
On Monday, April 8th, students from HNHS competed against other schools with commitment and enthusiasm. Congratulations to all the students on their performances. The following six awards were presented to our students.
Much Ado About Nothing - selected for the national Shakespeare competition in Wellington, Excellence in Comedy award, Audience's Choice Award. ( Josh Folkers, Harry Tylee-Morris, Jack Govett, and Reef Bridges. Director Josh Folkers).
Gus Klingender: selection for NSSP (National Shakespeare Schools Production week).
Harry Tylee-Morris: Excellence in Acting award.
Hamlet - Excellence in Music award.
