Dear HNHS families,

I have just received notification from the PPTA that all strike action has been ceased effective immediately. This means there will be no rostering home tomorrow and all students will be expected at school.

The strike action has ceased as PPTA has agreed to enter into arbitration with the government to resolve the negotiations. This will not affect the Paid Union Meeting that is still scheduled to take place next Wednesday (28th June) as mentioned in my previous email.

I am pleased to finally be able to report an end to the strike action to our community and I look forward to seeing the whole school back in action tomorrow. Finally, best wishes to our choirs who will be performing in this evenings Big Sing Gala concert.

I look forward to watching the performances and will keep my fingers crossed for the judging at the end of the night.
