Orienteering

Playing season:  Terms 1 and 2

Days and times played:  events are on Wednesdays 6pm in February and March.  Events about every second Sunday afternoon March - November

Practices:  Fridays after school; transport provided; coaching provided

Playing fee:  no season fee.  Entry fee for Hawke's Bay School Champs, NISS Champs, NZSS Champs and trip fees for champs outside Hawke's Bay.  Most of our adventure racers are also orienteers.

Gear supplied:  orienteering tops for competition and tracksuits for championships.  Compasses may be borrowed.

Extra information:  sport can be done at any level, including just socially.
