Netball

  Netball is played every Saturday at the Hastings Netball Centre on Sylvan Road in Hastings.  The first round starts at 8.30 am and the last round at 11.50 am.  Once students commit to playing at trials we expect that they maintain the commitment to their team and coach until the last game of the season.

Fees

• $70 per player.  This covers team registration and gear maintenance
• fees must be payed before trial to ensure student's commitment
• once paid there is no refund except in extreme circumstances such as injury or moving schools
• Senior A team fees are slightly more expensive.  If students make this team they will be required to pay more after the trial dates (approximately $25)

Uniform

Junior team members should all be fitted with a playing uniform, however this is dependent on demand for netball.

Senior A, B and C team members will be provided with a uniform for the season.  Those students in social teams will be required to purchase a pleated skirt and light blue polo shirt.  These can be purchased at Postie Plus at a cost of approximately $35.

 Please note that members of the Senior A, B and C teams will be expected to umpire at least two games throughout the season for other teams.

Last year our Senior A team was the runner-up in the Hawke's Bay School Premier competition and we had several of our girls in representative teams.

Several teachers and students are coaching teams in 2010.  We look forward to another successful season on the courts this year.
