Havelock North High School won the prize for the most teams entered at the Hawke's Bay schools' team triathlon in 2008.  We seldom come away without winning at least one of the titles - it was three in 2007.

Senior physical education classes work towards competing in the individual triathlon as an assessment.

HNHS student, Angus Fuhrer, is the Hawke's Bay junior boys' champion.
