Teams at HNHS are right into this fast growing sport which marries the ideas of facing up to a number of unknown challenges with the need for teamwork.  Most events insist on mixed teams.

Havelock teams have won the Hawke's Bay Get 2 Go Challenge for years 9 and 10 both years it has run and the team of 2007 went to the grand final on Barrier Island.

The Go-4-12 national championships are run on our doorstep and our girls have been runners-up in 2007 and 2008, while HNHS teams have won the Mad Magpie urban adventure race for the last two years.  A team is being formed to take on the country's premier event, the Hillary Challenge.
