The inaugural charity Art Exhibition and Auction is to be held from Tuesday 25th to Friday 28th May at the Hawke’s Bay Opera House, Hastings. The Art Exhibition and Auction is viewed by the Foundation as a key event to promote the high standard of cultural excellence that exists at HNHS and we are planning on the exhibition and auction being an annual event that is not to be missed and to be a highly-regarded event on the Hawke‘s Bay arts calendar.
A cocktail Exhibition Opening will be held on Tuesday 25th May to open the exhibition – this will give buyers the opportunity to purchase art before the exhibition is open to the public. Students, ex students and teachers from HNHS will be given the opportunity to provide pieces for the exhibition, alongside well known Hawke's Bay and New Zealand Artists, including Melanie Richardson, Annie Hayward, Nic Scotland and Kate McKenzie.
The Art Extravaganza will conclude with a cocktail Auction conducted by Simon Tremain from Tremains Real Estate which will include up to 20 pieces of art from New Zealand artists, on Friday 28th May from 5.00pm at the Hawke’s Bay Opera House.
If you are unable to attend the Preview function, the exhibition will be open Wednesday 26th – Friday 28th May from 10am – 4pm. Entry is free on these days.

- Tickets to both the Opening Cocktail Preview and Auction are only $90 per person
