Enrolment Information

Havelock North High School welcomes enrolments from Havelock North, Hastings and the surrounding areas.  All students intending to enrol at the school are required to attend an interview with a member of the senior managment team.  Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend this meeting with their son or daughter.  

What should I bring to the meeting?
The following items should be brought to the enrolment interview:

• Copies of past school reports
• Birth certificate 
• Proof of immigration Status and Passport (students not born in N.Z.)

Commencement of School Year 2012

Monday 23 & Tuesday 24 January:  - 9:00am – 3:00pm - Principal available for enrolments

Wednesday 25 January: 9:00am – 12:00pm & 1:00pm – 2:00pm -  Course confirmation for Yr 13 students (i.e. those returning and those Yr 13 students new to the school). 

2:00pm - Yr 13 Camp organisation meeting for all Yr 13 students in the Auditorium

Thursday 26 January:  9:00am – 12:00pm  & 1:00pm – 2:00pm - Course confirmation for Yr 12 students (i.e. those returning and those Yr 12 students new to the school)

Friday 27 January:  9:00am – 3:00pm - Principal available for enrolments

Monday 30 January:  9:00am – 3:00pm - Principal available for enrolments

Tuesday 31 January - Year 13 at Camp

9:00am – 3:00pm - Principal available for enrolments

Wednesday 1 February:  Year 13 at Camp - Teacher Only Day

Thursday 2 February:  8:45am Year 10, 11, 12 students attend school

Year 13 at school for Leadership Training

Friday 3 February: Year 9 Orientation Day

Years 9 and 13 attend school - Year 9 students to wear the correct uniform and bring the following gear for their first day: pen, paper to write on and lunch.

Tuesday 7 February:  All levels attend school from this day onwards.
